We are building a permanent, stand-alone Hanuman Mandir in Durham Region — a sacred home where devotees and families can gather for darshan, seva, satsang, samskaras, and the celebration of our timeless traditions.
Since 2011, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir has been a beloved spiritual refuge for the Hindu community of Ajax and Durham Region. What began as a humble gathering of faith has blossomed into a thriving sabha of over 1,500 bhaktas.
Our community has grown — and so has our need. A dedicated, stand-alone mandir will give us the space to expand our daily puja, host major festivals with dignity, offer samskara ceremonies, and provide a true cultural and educational home for generations to come.
This is not just a building. It is a landmark of faith — a place where our children will learn our traditions, where families will gather in celebration, and where all are welcome in the spirit of seva.
