For Our Community
Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir & Cultural Centre was founded in 2011 by a group of devoted families with roots in the Caribbean and South Asian Hindu tradition. What began as a gathering of faith has grown into a vibrant spiritual home for the entire Durham Region.
Under the divine guidance of Head Pandit Pt. Rabindranath Tiwari, our mandir celebrates the full richness of Sanatan Dharma — from daily aartis and Hanuman Chalisa to elaborate five-day Kathas, Navratri celebrations, and life's sacred milestones.
